I had the pleasure of doing makeup for the chairman of Ruiz Foods.  It was for a promotional video that was being filmed by Walmart to discuss the history and passion behind the food service company, as well as their relationship with Walmart.

The look needed to be business professional, but still glamorous. 

Kim came to set with a base layer of foundation already applied, so I took it up a notch by applying more foundation and highlighting her under eye area and cheek bones with MAC Cosmetics Prolong Wear concealer which was a few shades lighter than her complexion.  Next I set her foundation with a translucent powder, and followed up with blush and bronzer to give more definition to her features.

I did a very subtle eye look using soft browns and golds for her eyeshadow- and used a black gel eyeliner to help her eyes stand out on camera.

Last I finished off her look with a neutral pink lip liner and gloss. 

Her hair was also curled and styled by me- something similar to how she normally wears her hair, but with a little more curl and pizazz to make sure she was ready for her close up!

She loved her look that day, and her appearance was one less thing she had to worry about while she was filming with Walmart and discussing the success of her family and their business.
